Job Summary
The Procurement Representative is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring telecom & IT hardware, software, and services to support the organization’s technology needs. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality, compliance, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing:
- Identify and evaluate Telecom & IT suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and secure competitive pricing for ICT-related purchases.
- Ensure all procurement follows company policies and budget constraints.
- Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to contracts or service agreements.
- Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all procurement aligns with company policies, industry regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Work with sales, operations, and finance teams to review contracts and mitigate risks.
- Stay up to date with ICT market trends and emerging technologies.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for all procurements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
- Analyze spending patterns and suggest ways to optimize procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in ICT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ICT hardware, software, licensing, and cloud services.
