Job Summary

The Presales Engineer – ICT will play a critical role in the sales process by working closely with the sales team and clients to understand their technical requirements, design tailored ICT solutions, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ICT, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Consultation:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and business objectives.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on ICT solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, software, and IT infrastructure.
    • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services to meet client requirements.
  2. Solution Design:
    • Design and architect customized ICT solutions that align with client needs and business goals.
    • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including diagrams, configurations, and cost estimates.
    • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  3. Presentations and Demonstrations:
    • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the value and functionality of proposed solutions.
    • Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process, building client confidence in the proposed solutions.
    • Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to validate solution feasibility.
  4. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with product development, engineering, and support teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities.
    • Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to improve products and services.
  5. Technical Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, proposals, and implementation plans.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with client requirements.
  6. Market and Industry Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
    • Use market insights to inform solution design and sales strategies.
  7. Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to the sales team on technical aspects of products and services.
    • Assist in the development of sales tools, including case studies, whitepapers, and technical guides.
