Job Summary

The Accounts Manager – ICT Sales will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts within the ICT sector. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their technology needs, and delivering tailored ICT solutions to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the ICT sector.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
    • Understand clients’ business objectives and technology requirements to provide customized ICT solutions.
  2. Sales Growth:
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell ICT products and services (e.g., cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, software, etc.).
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Conduct regular client check-ins to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify new opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical support, product development) to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  4. Market and Industry Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
    • Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on sales performance, including pipeline, forecasts, and revenue.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular updates to management on account status and sales activities.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and technical teams to align efforts and achieve company goals.
    • Share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ICT sales, account management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ICT products and services (e.g., cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, software, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
